General Terms and Conditions Visiting Borobudur Temple

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• 1. Tickets are valid according to the selected visit date.
  2. Tickets are non-refundable.
  3., Tickets are valid for one-time use.
  4. Operational Hours: Tuesday–Sunday: 09.00–17.00 WIB.
  5. In order to protect and preserve the Borobudur temple, a limit is placed on the number of tourists who go up to the Borobudur temple monument.
  6. Restrictions on the number of tourists apply to domestic tourists and foreign tourists.
  Limits on the number of tourists apply to all tourists for educational purposes, religious purposes, official purposes, and tourist purposes.
  7. Limiting the number of tourists is intended to manage the crowd according to the available carrying capacity in the Borobudur temple monument area.
  8. The number of tourists allowed to go up to the Borobudur temple monument is 1,200 in one day (09.00 to 17.00 WIB).
  9. Limiting the number of tourists to 1,200 people per day is regulated through a mechanism, with a maximum of 150 people at the Borobudur temple monument.
  10. To provide an experience for tourists who go up to the Borobudur temple monument, a visiting theme has been provided that tourists must choose from. On one day, there are two choices of visiting themes.
  11. The visiting days for tourists who will go up to the monument and courtyard of the Borobudur temple start on Tuesday through Sunday.
  12. Every Monday, the Borobudur temple monument is closed for visits (temple cleanliness maintenance), and tourists are only allowed to visit on page 2 (two) of the park.  Setting the number of tourists is regulated by eight visiting sessions below:
